Courtney Clute is a writer and professional. Courtney's chapbook, The Fermi Paradox, was published by Alien Buddha Press in August 2022. Her work has appeared in Passages North, Fractured Literary, Flash Fiction Magazine, The Lumiere Review, Flash Frog, Parentheses Journal, and elsewhere.
Courtney is a 2023 Creative Pinellas Professional Artist Grant recipient. Her flash fiction has been nominated for Best of the Net, Best Small Fictions, and the Pushcart Prize. She earned an MFA in fiction at the University of South Florida and also holds a Professional and Technical Communication Graduate Certificate. At USF, she won the Hirshberg Award for Graduate Achievement.
She is a reader for Fractured Literary and was a reader-in-residence for SmokeLong Quarterly>. Courtney co-coordinates a local monthly literary reading series called Red Herring. You can find her on Twitter at @courtney_clute.
